Awesome Autumn Day 1

Though autumn is not my favorite season, I do love the color of the leaves. It’s not quite the height of the season yet, so pickings were slim in the backyard. I did manage to find one that inspired me. I love the combination of yellow and scarlet, with quite a bit of summer green remaining to create contrast.

I had fun with this challenge, and I’m going to try very hard to keep up with all 31 days of October, painting a prompt each day. Today, of course, was leaves!
