In my quest for the minimal palette, I decided to swap out a couple of semi-transparent colors for transparent. Plus, the mixes I’ve made with ceruleans, both PB35 and PB36 tend to look muddy. So I brought in manganese blue hue, and lemon yellow in place of hansa yellow, med or light.
Adding ink changes the look, and I quite like it. It’s not so much that it’s cartoony, but it forms up the edges a bit without using super dark colors.
